Chrome browser extension
You can use the Multiplayer browser extension to capture full stack, unsampled session recordings, which you can then feed into your coding agent.
All recordings capture everything from front-end screens, user actions, backend traces, metrics, logs, to full request/response content and headers, all auto-correlated in a single session.
Configuration overview
- Install the Multiplayer browser extension from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge supported).
- Toggle on “Enable session recording on this site”
- Select a Multiplayer workspace and project
- Start recording your first session
From the browser extension you can directly login into your Multiplayer account. If you don't already have one, create a free trial at go.multiplayer.app.
When you’re using the Multiplayer browser extension, session data is tied to a single tab and domain.

Toggle on continuous recording
- Open the browser extension
- Toggle on “Continuous recording ”
Continuous recording gives you the ability to record all sessions automatically in the background (we keep a rolling record of your last two minutes of activity), so reproducing issues is never required. Multiplayer saves recordings the moment bugs or anomalies occur making it effortless to capture elusive, hard-to-reproduce problems.

Connect your backend services for deeper insights
To fully unlock true full stack visibility and deeper insights from your session recordings, you need to connect your backend to Multiplayer, sending your application's telemetry data—traces, logs, and request/response information—to our platform.
The most efficient way to do this is by leveraging OpenTelemetry, an industry standard for collecting telemetry data.
